A hands-on accounting professional will perform accounting and administrative duties: Account reconciliations, general ledger journal entries, cash receipts and disbursements, fixed asset recording, sales tax reporting, and compliance. 

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for owning and evolving accounting processes.

Duties:

• Assist in centralized reporting including producing the monthly reporting package.
• Prepare and review journals to ensure proper coding of revenues, expenses and balance sheet items including cost centers and locations.
• Assist in preparing costing data within NetSuite to determine and update valid product costing data.
• Manage all new and existing sales cycle processes including accounts receivable, payment applications, deposits, gift cards, and deferred revenue.
• Produce the daily revenue report.
• Work with store managers, web team, customer service, and corporate sales team to manage orders.
• Serve as accounting subject matter expert for store managers and all payment systems, including point-of-sale and connection with NetSuite from Braintree and Square platforms.
• Assist in the annual organizational and departmental budget process.
• Manage key expenditures (fixed assets, leases, vendor records, travel, and entertainment).
• Responsible for accounts payable function including creating vendor bills and purchase order matching.
• Manage corporate programs such as credit cards and related travel and entertainment expenses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably including supervisory responsibility.
• Cost accounting with fixed bills assets
• Strong proficiency working in Excel.
• NetSuite experience is preferred.
