The Role You will Play
- Proactively engage with customers, delivering enlightened insight into the challenges they face as well as the goals they are looking to realize.
- Be able to balance multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, changing environment, with a strong bias for action and ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
- Continuously and deeply understand the needs of customers to build products with great market fit and communicate these to your engineering partners.
- Own the outcome based (usage, revenue, customer satisfaction) success of features that empower our customers to help candidates find great opportunities.
- Define your feature or program’s requirements and user stories in a well-prioritized plan. Align those requirements with stakeholders, business objectives, budgets, timelines, and success criteria.
- Drive feature success by working closely with product engineering and test partners to create compelling high quality customer experiences.
- Build strong relationships with integration partners and be able to identify, close and nurture revenue generating opportunities and partnerships.
- Collaborate with our Customer Success and Sales teams to understand and define the needs of the team and our customers.
- Evangelize and communicate publicly about the modules and features you own. Highlight the value you’ve delivered both internally and externally. Help tell the stories of the lives you improved through your features.
- Drive project through to completion, providing detailed progress metrics during build and insightful analysis of results post-launch to leadership and stakeholders.
- Analyze market and trends to inform new recommendations
Background Profile
- 3+ years of product management, or user experience design experience in the technology industry. Please note, that Senior Business Analyst, or Senior Consultant roles from technical consulting organizations are welcomed as well.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across multiple teams, including UX, product, and development; ideally within a budget, and deadlines in mind.
- Working knowledge of a work tracking tool like Azure DevOps (TFS), Jira, Excel, etc. or other software project management tools.
- Demonstrable experience with modern software design concepts including Entity Relationship Designs, User Experience, User Stories, Agile development delivery, User Acceptance and more.
- A focus on data, metrics, and analytics.
- A passion for web-based business software and an ability to evaluate and discuss technical concepts.
Preferred Skills
- BA or BS in a technical field is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, recruiting, or other CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with user experience and user interface design.
- Use of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and mockup tools.
