Job Description

The Systems Engineer shall have expertise in hardware and software development lifecycles.  Knowledge in AGILE SCRUM is required, and continuous integration is desired for company projects.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed to interface with customers.  Candidate will assist with requirements, create design artifacts, integrate system components, and assist with different levels of testing. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or another related field.
• 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Produce system artifacts (e.g. Systems Engineering Management Plan, System Design Document, Interface Control Document, Test Management Plan, Test Plan).
• Support Milestone Reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Derive requirements, develop use cases and user stories.  Familiarity with Doors and Jira.
• Assist with ROMs for proposals.
• Knowledge of UML, SYSML, and DODAF modeling.
• Ability to create DODAF diagrams (e.g. OV-1, SV-1, etc.).
• Ability to create UML diagrams (class, sequence, activity, component, and data flow diagrams).  PREFERRED DESIGN TOOL: Magic Draw.
• Experience with client server architectures.  Need to be able to utilize and debug TCP and UDP packets.
• Familiar with datalink configuration and setup (e.g. Vortex, Silvus, MPU5).
• Familiar with software middleware (e.g. JMS and DDS).
• Knowledge os UAS systems and ground control station architecture including Gray Eagle, Hunter, Shadow, and UGCS.
• PREFERRED knowledge of FACE, MOSA, OMS, and UCS standards.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Ability to travel, as necessary.
• Active Security clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain an Active Security clearance
