KSR Foam and Technical Products, LLC is looking for a Part Inspector/Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. You will use standard measuring devices such as a ruler and tape measure to check and approve parts for shipment. This is an entry-level position however engineering experience or knowledge is a plus.

As part of a team, you will maintain and advance quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication, leadership skills, and knowledge of CAD programs and blueprint reading are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Job Description

Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.

Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirm re-work.

Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; input data into quality database.

Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; call for repairs.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read technical publications- including ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100D standards.

Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Advance our quality system under ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100D requirements.

Fill in gaps in the production process.

Regular Hours: Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Overtime as needed. There is the possibility of adding a second shift.

Starting rate depending on experience.

Must be able to work overtime as needed. Shipping bonus eligible based on performance and attendance.
