About the Opportunity

FLA Midlo is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation, take pride in delivering high-quality meals, and enjoy working in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.

As a valued member of our kitchen team, you will play an important role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with food safety and health regulations.

Assist with menu preparation, inventory monitoring, and ingredient management to ensure product freshness and availability.

Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to deliver outstanding food and customer service.

Ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and consistency across all menu offerings.

Support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, and dishwashing as needed.

Adapt to menu changes, seasonal offerings, and special customer requests.

Contribute to a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or culinary setting preferred.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Culinary certification or formal culinary training is a plus.

Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to excellent customer service.
