Job Overview SK ecoplant Americas is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations. This position is initially part-time, with the potential to transition to a full-time role based on performance, adaptability, and business needs.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a strong foundation in general accounting principles, and a professional, positive attitude. This role will support daily transactional accounting, month-end close activities, financial audit preparation, and reconciliation of financial records across multiple legal entities under the supervision of senior accounting staff. Additional ad hoc accounting projects may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare, review, and post journal entries to the general ledger
Perform account reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts
Assist with reconciling financial records across multiple legal entities to ensure accuracy and consistency
Support the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements under the supervision of senior accounting staff Identify discrepancies between accounts and entities and assist in resolution
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including assistance with Federal and State tax compliance
Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation
Assist with expense reports, invoice processing, and payment tracking
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation
Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks and special projects, including data analysis, reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Preferred exposure to Cost & Management Accounting and Lease Accounting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Professional communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Demonstrated interest in long-term employment and professional growth
Fluency in Korean and English is required as this role involves regular communication with HQ and review of accounting documentation in Korean
Preferred Qualifications Experience
Supporting accounting activities for multiple legal entities
Exposure to cost accounting, management accounting, or lease accounting
Experience supporting audit or tax-related processes
