    Duty Location: DLA Disposition Services, 74 N Washington Ave, Battle Creek, MI

    Position Description: The VTC Lead provides technical leadership and hands-on support for VTC systems, including maintenance, installation, inventory accountability, and coordination with Asset Management.

    Active Top Secret Clearance Required

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Work under general supervision to assist in developing technical requirement solutions for Audio Visual, Video Telepresence, Digital Signage, and Internet Protocol Television (AV/VTC/DS/IPTV) products

    · Research and collaborate with vendors to augment Government troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of system components

    · Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of technical solutions

    · Define and develop new and improved business process solutions

    · Provide expert analysis and advice on information technology solutions

    · Support complex technical requirements activities

    · Conduct feasibility studies and gap analyses

    · Perform business process reengineering efforts

    · Develop forecasts based on industry best practices

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    Minimum Requirements:

    · Requires a minimum of one of the following: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification or. AVIXA CTS certification

    · Five (5) years of relevant experience and experience working with:

    o Crestron

    o Cisco

    o Biamp/AMX

    o Extron

    o Dual classification video conferencing solutions

    · At time of proposal the contractor must possess a High Risk, Critical Sensitive with a Tier 5/SSBI investigation.

  • Qualifications
    • Proven working experience in project management
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
    • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
    • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
    • Experience with process improvement and inventory control
    • Advanced time management and analytical skills
    • Working knowledge of project management software (e.g., Basecamp, MS Project, etc.)
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box
    • Experience with budget management
    • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (scope creep, changed requirements, etc.)
