Position: Afternoon Teacher Assistant (Part-Time)

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a supportive team, and is looking for flexible afternoon hours. You’ll assist Lead Teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support Lead Teachers with classroom activities and supervision.

Engage children in play, learning, and enrichment during afternoon hours.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

Assist with transitions, snack time, and end-of-day routines.

Communicate positively with children, families, and staff.

Qualifications

Experience working with children preferred (childcare, education, or related field).

Energetic, caring, and reliable personality.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Commitment to safety and compliance with DSS/DBHDS standards.

Availability for afternoon shifts (flexible scheduling).
