A friendly family in Brookline is seeking an organized, energetic, and engaging part-time nanny to care for their three children (ages 10, 6, and almost 9 months). This long-term afternoon role focuses on after-school care, transportation to activities, and helping with the evening routine.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional childcare experience

CPR and First Aid certified

Non-smoker

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Reliable vehicle for transportation

Pet friendly and comfortable around cats and dogs

Responsibilities

Providing attentive afternoon and evening care for three children

Picking children up from school and driving to activities as needed

Creating engaging, age-appropriate activities and supporting homework when needed

Assisting with dinner, baths, and bedtime routines

Tidying children's bedrooms, play areas, and completing child-related household tasks

Helping keep the family's afternoon and evening schedule organized

About the Family This friendly and welcoming family is looking for a nanny who will become a trusted part of their household. The family has a daytime nanny, and one parent is home at times throughout the week, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with family members and other household employees to ensure a smooth transition between caregivers. The family also has a cat and dog, so candidates should be comfortable working in a home with animals.

Position Details

Location: Brookline, Boston, MA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 3:00 PM–8:00 PM

Position: Part-time, long-term

Compensation: $34-$40/hr BOE; taxes withheld
