About the Role:

Join Salon D/Art as a Part-Time Art Handler in Hercules, CA, where you will play a crucial role in the handling and installation of exquisite artworks. Be part of our expanding team where we specialize in high-quality art installations and framing coordination for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients.

Responsibilities:

Carefully handle and pack artworks, to ensure their safety and integrity.during shipping and/or transport between Berkeley, Hercules, Fremont & Sonoma.

Assist in the installation and deinstallation of art exhibits in various settings.

Maintain and upkeep storage unit

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of artworks and display areas.

Follow all safety protocols and best practices for art handling.

Assist with administrative tasks related to logistics and scheduling.

Collaborate with team members and adapt to a flexible scheduled based on sales and availability

Requirements:

Previous 1 year experience in art handling, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for art and culture.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for transporting multiple framed artworks (SUV, van or hatchback required)

Flexible availability (T, W, R) with an occasional Sat (1:30 pm - 10:00pm)
