Experienced Attorney (Flexible/Part-Time/Retired) Our firm is seeking an experienced retired attorney to provide mentorship and guidance across a variety of matters throughout Florida. This role is ideal for a seasoned semi-retired attorney who is looking to offer meaningful mentorship and flexible part-time work. This individual wants to remain engaged in the practice of law and is eager to offer mentorship. Final compensation offer is negotiable based on the value that can be added to the firm. Our practice areas include tax, real estate transactions and disputes, business, and bankruptcy matters. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Review legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and case materials • Provide guidance, consultation, and strategic insight on active matters • Assist attorneys with issue analysis, research, and case evaluation • Support transactional and pre-litigation matters as needed • Appear for hearings, conferences, or other proceedings on an occasional basis • Help identify practical solutions, risks, and opportunities for clients and the firm Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: • Licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar • Meaningful experience in tax, real estate, bankruptcy, commercial matters, or related practice areas • Strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Practical judgment and a client-focused approach • Availability on a flexible, as-needed basis Compensation: $32 - $75 per hour based on experience
