JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking energetic and outgoing individuals to join our small team. As a Bakery Clerk, you will spend most of your time assisting customers. You will also need to wash dishes and package product. This is part-time position. You must feel comfortable interacting with customers and answering questions about our products. This shift will also require some working on your own, thus you must feel comfortable in the bakery on your own. You must also have good organizational and communication skills.

This position will report to the Bakery Manager/Owner. The shifts range from 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday; though, the closing shift and will require a little bit of time after 5:30 to finish closing duties. Occasional Saturday shift: 8:30am-12:30pm. 10-20 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist customers with a friendly positive attitude

Package finished baked products

Clean and put away dishes

Keep bakery organized and efficient

Fulfill all closing duties accurately

QUALIFICATIONS: A love of customer service is required. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

Ability to interact with customers positively.

Outgoing and welcoming attitude.

Willingness to follow checklists accurately and completely.

Good organizational skills.

Capacity to build personal relationships of trust and respect with owners/manager, co-workers and customers.

A strong work ethic, humble manner, and demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond when necessary.
