The Chicago Marriott Schaumburg is currently hiring a Part-Time Barback. Responsibilities: • Regularly restock liquor bottles, beer kegs, ice, garnishes, napkins, straws, and other bar items. • Collect dirty glasses, return them to the dishwasher, and polish clean glasses for service. • Wipe down counters, clean spills, sweep floors, and remove trash. • Setting up the bar at the start of service and breaking it down at the end, including cleaning equipment and restocking. • Helping with drink orders during peak times, prepping ingredients, and delivering food to tables when necessary. • Answering basic customer questions and providing friendly service while the bartenders are busy. • Monitoring stock levels and notifying management when items need to be reordered. • Must be available to work the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and maybe one other day throughout the week(end). Qualifications: • Prior food service or similar industry experience. • Team player mentality. • Ability to lift heavy items such as kegs, cases, etc. • Customer service friendly personality. Compensation: $12.50 per hour
