Rockford Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and hard-working individual to join our team as a Part-Time Bather/Veterinary Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual seeking to start their career in veterinary medicine.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Bathing and drying pets according to their individual needs

Brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and gentle handling

Assisting veterinary technicians and doctors with patient care

Cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment

Monitoring animals for signs of stress or illness

Requirements:

Previous animal care experience preferred but not required

Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments

Ability to lift 40+ pounds and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
