Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper/Receptionist to join our team. This position combines accounting support with front desk responsibilities in a small, office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting:
Enter and maintain financial transactions using Sage 100
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Support EDI transaction processing (invoicing, order entry, etc.)
Reception & Office Support:
Order entry and confirmations.
Answer and route incoming calls in a professional manner
Greet and assist visitors
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Maintain office supplies and general organization
Perform light data entry, filing, and administrative tasks
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) is required
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, and accounting principles
Solid understanding of balance sheets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Professional communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
Experience with EDI systems (e.g., SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, etc.)
Previous experience in a small business or manufacturing office setting
