We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Part-Time Business Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day administrative and operational responsibilities for a growing, multi-state service business. This position plays an important role in keeping business operations organized and moving forward, allowing company leadership to focus on growth and client acquisition.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities with limited oversight. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants flexible, primarily work-from-home hours while gaining broad, hands-on exposure to how a growing business operates.
Because the role includes regular local responsibilities, candidates must live in the Austin/Cedar Park area and have reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate client onboarding activities and vendor documentation
- Provide administrative support for recruiting and employment-related paperwork
- Coordinate travel arrangements, training sessions, and related logistics
- Maintain business licenses, registrations, compliance documentation, and renewal schedules
- Request, organize, and maintain certificates of insurance and related records
- Purchase and coordinate uniforms, office supplies, and other operational materials
- Handle mail, bank deposits, and other banking-related administrative tasks
- Coordinate with technology, software, and other service vendors
- Perform basic administrative tasks in QuickBooks Online
- Assist with bookkeeping coordination and the organization of financial records
- Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic and physical files
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding operational items
- Provide general administrative and business operations support as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in administrative support, office coordination, business operations, or a related role
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a home-office environment
- Proactive approach to identifying needs, solving problems, and following through
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and areas of the business
- Proficiency with common business technology and software
- Must reside in the Austin/Cedar Park area
- Reliable transportation and availability to complete occasional local tasks, including handling mail, making bank deposits, picking up supplies, and meeting with leadership
