    As a caregiver, you will provide personalized, hands-on support that promotes independence, safety, and overall well-being. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of individuals who need assistance with personal care, routine activities, and companionship.

    This assignment includes client-specific personal care needs. A male caregiver is preferred due to comfort and privacy considerations; however, all qualified caregivers who are comfortable with hands-on personal care are encouraged to apply.

    Transportation Requirement (Important)

    Due to attendance challenges related to public transportation for this assignment, access to a personal vehicle is required to ensure consistent, on-time arrival for scheduled shifts.

    Responsibilities & Duties

    This assignment includes hands-on personal assistance , which may include:

    • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)with bathing and grooming
    • Assistance with toileting and hygiene
    • Assistance with dressing
    • Transfers and mobility support
    • Monitoring client safety, comfort, and dignity
    • Provide meal preparation and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment
    • Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to report any concerns promptly
    • Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy standards
    • Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being
    • Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in condition

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year caregiving experience (home care preferred)
    • Access to a personal vehicle is required for this assignment
    • Ability to commit to the listed days and hours
    • Dependable, punctual, and professional
    • Current TB test (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
    • Ability to pass a clean criminal background check
    • Must meet all employment and compliance requirements
    • Ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 25–30 lbs , as required for client care
    • Ability to stand, walk, and assist throughout the shift

    Skills

    • Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments
    • Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, medication management, and HIPAA compliance
    • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts
    • Strong observational skills for patient safety and health status updates
    • Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and healthcare teams
    • Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a personal vehicle for transportation purposes
