About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to support a senior client in the White Bluff community of Whitney, TX. This is a part-time position focused on personal care, mobility, and companionship, serving someone who desires to age at home with dignity and safety.

Schedule:

Tuesdays & Fridays

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (4-hour shifts)

Located in a private home in the White Bluff neighborhood in Whitney, TX

Care Responsibilities Include:

Bathing and showering assistance

Dressing and hygiene support (heavy assist)

Toileting care (client wears briefs; bedside commode use)

Transferring and mobility assistance (client uses walker; fall risk)

Monitor and assist with exercise and walking to support leg strength

Hearing aid support (reminders to wear and charge)

Monitor for signs of confusion or cognitive changes (moderate dementia)

Provide light meal prep if needed

Ensure a safe and respectful environment for daily living

Client Health Overview:

Diagnosed with liver cirrhosis, kidney failure, and moderate dementia

Wears hearing aids and cannot hear without them

Eats well and takes morning medications independently

Wakes frequently at night and may need help toileting (note: this shift is daytime only)

Who We’re Looking For:

1+ year of caregiving experience required

Comfortable with hands-on personal care, transferring, and mobility support

Emotionally steady and patient communicator (especially with dementia)

Trustworthy, dependable, and values Excellence, Integrity, Love, and Joy

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Professional appearance and demeanor
