    Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.

    Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

    Thrive Early Learning Center is hiring Flex Teachers and Classroom Support Staff to help our classrooms run smoothly during important parts of the day. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children, likes variety, and can move between classrooms while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.

    Flex and support staff are essential members of our team. They assist teachers, provide classroom coverage, help maintain required ratios, support transitions, and make sure children receive safe and attentive care throughout the day.

    Shift Options

    Morning Support: 6:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.

    Morning team members help us open the center and prepare for a successful day. Responsibilities may include:

    Welcoming children and families

    Supervising early-arriving children

    Combining and transitioning groups safely

    Helping serve breakfast

    Preparing classrooms and materials

    Supporting teachers as additional classrooms open

    Maintaining accurate attendance and supervision

    Cleaning and resetting shared spaces

    Applicants for this shift must be consistently available to arrive on time for a 6:00 a.m. start.

    Midday Support: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

    Midday team members provide classroom assistance and coverage during some of our busiest hours. Responsibilities may include:

    Supporting classroom routines and learning activities

    Providing coverage for teacher breaks and lunches

    Helping with meals, diapering, toileting, and transitions

    Supervising indoor and outdoor play

    Assisting children during rest time

    Preparing and sanitizing classroom materials

    Supporting multiple age groups based on daily needs

    Helping classrooms remain organized, safe, and within ratio

    What You Will Do

    Provide attentive and active supervision

    Build warm and respectful relationships with children

    Follow classroom schedules, lesson plans, and teacher directions

    Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, handwashing, rest time, and transitions

    Engage children through play, conversation, reading, music, and activities

    Move between classrooms and age groups as assigned

    Maintain confidentiality and professional communication

    Follow all licensing, health, safety, sanitation, and supervision requirements

    Communicate concerns promptly to classroom and administrative leaders

    Help create a welcoming environment for children, families, and coworkers

    What We Are Looking For

    Excellent dependability and punctuality

    A positive, calm, and flexible attitude

    Willingness to work with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, Pre-K students, or school-age children

    Ability to follow directions and adjust to changing classroom needs

    Strong teamwork and communication skills

    Patience and genuine care for children

    Previous child care, preschool, school, camp, church nursery, or caregiving experience is preferred but not required

    Minimum Requirements

    At least 18 years old

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Able to pass all required background checks

    Able to complete required child care and health training

    Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

    Able to sit on the floor, bend, stand, walk, and participate in indoor and outdoor activities

    Reliable transportation

    Consistent Monday–Friday availability for the selected shift
