About the Role:

Join The Learning Experience in Astoria, NY as a Part Time Classroom Aide, where you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. This is an exciting opportunity to support teachers and make a positive impact on children's early education.

We are looking for a specific part time schedule of: Monday - Friday 3pm-6pm

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.

Supervise and engage with children during playtime and group activities.

Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Support children’s social and emotional development through positive interactions.

Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress.

Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.

Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and preparing materials.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education preferred.

Experience working with young children in a classroom setting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Must be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic.
