About the Role Surface Experts of Metro Detroit is looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented Part‑Time Cleaning Technician to help prepare apartment surfaces for refinishing. This position focuses on showers, tubs, surrounds, and countertops.

No windows, no floors, no toilets.

This is a great fit for someone who wants a flexible schedule, steady weekly hours, and simple, consistent cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

Clean and prep tubs, showers, surrounds, and countertops in apartment units prior to refinishing

Remove soap scum, residue, and surface contaminants

Follow simple prep procedures to ensure surfaces are ready for repair or coating

Communicate with the team regarding completed units or issues found

Maintain a professional and respectful presence in occupied and mostly unoccupied units

Schedule & Hours

8–10 hours per week

Flexible scheduling — work around your availability - evenings weekends as well.

Jobs primarily located in the Detroit metro area

Requirements

Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
