    About the Role

    Neomorph is seeking a detail-oriented Compound Management Specialist to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. In this role, you will support our research efforts by maintaining our compound inventory, fulfilling requests, and ensuring accurate data tracking. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on lab work and wants to contribute directly to drug discovery efforts in a flexible schedule.

    Assignment is expected to last 6 months.

    Schedule: Flexible, part-time (approx. 20 hours/week). Options:

    • 4 days/week, 5 hours/day
    • 5 days/week, 4 hours/day

    Work must be completed during standard business hours (M–F, 9:00am–5:00pm).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage internal inventory of research compounds (neat and solubilized).
    • Fulfill compound requests (liquid/neat) using inventory software within defined turnaround times.
    • Accurately register and track samples in the inventory system for real-time visibility.
    • Coordinate compound shipments between vendors, collaborators, and internal research sites.
    • Receive and process incoming samples, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
    • Weigh and solubilize compounds weekly to support ongoing projects.
    • Upload chemical and biological data into databases, ensuring integrity and accessibility.
    • Support general lab operations (restocking consumables, labeling plates, barcoding vials).

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or related field.
    • Hands-on lab experience (academic or industry).
    • Comfortable with standard lab PPE and safety practices.
    • Strong experience with compound handling and preparation.
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Collaborative mindset with good communication skills.
    • Basic skills in pipetting and Excel.

    • Experience with automation tools (e.g., ECHO systems).
    • Familiarity with Mosaic or other inventory management software.
