    Job Summary: The part-time Concierge plays a crucial role in our community by managing all incoming communication, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors, and providing essential administrative support. This position requires a candidate with excellent organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to maintaining a positive living experience for our residents.

    Performance Requirements:

    Answer all incoming phone calls promptly, direct calls to the appropriate parties, and ensure messages are delivered in a timely manner.

    Greet visitors and residents warmly, offering assistance and information as needed.

    Distribute business and inter-office mail efficiently.

    Manage Guest Suite reservations, including check-in/check-out procedures and handling payment transactions.

    Monitor and restock office supplies, forwarding supply needs to the Director of Administrative Services.

    Complete work order tickets for maintenance or housekeeping services, entering requests into the AOD program.

    Assist residents in making reservations for dining, shopping, and other services.

    Accept and manage package deliveries, notifying residents promptly and facilitating delivery as requested.

    Maintain records, including resident contact information, key logs, and the "Out of Town" list.

    Be knowledgeable about emergency response procedures and the Up and About System.

    Assist in training new staff members within the department when required.

    Genuine interest in geriatric care and a commitment to upholding the facility's philosophy.

    Maintain a well-groomed appearance and a courteous, friendly, patient, and congenial manner at all times.

    Qualifications:

    Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

    Training and Experience: Ability to work well under pressure with a high degree of interruption. Proficient in typing, filing, and handling a multi-line telephone system. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.

    Must maintain good public relations with a positive work attitude in the work environment.
