Job Description
Are you an attorney with a gift for researching and writing? Do you have experience in criminal law? Are you a civil attorney who is interested in criminal law? Would you like flexibility in how you practice law? Would you like to have the ability to work part-time? And potentially work from home? Would you like to work five hours a day? Or three days a week? If yes to any or all of these questions, we may be your perfect fit. We need an attorney to assist our current team in researching and writing criminal appeals. The selected applicant will have an office, a legal assistant, and all the necessary tools (WestLaw and a database of previously filed direct appeals and reply briefs) to succeed. This position could become full-time for the right person. A full-time position would eventually include monthly bonuses.
This is not a trial lawyer position. The selected person will not go to court. This is a research and writing position.
You must be a member of the Florida Bar.
