About the Role ActivInsights is looking for a motivated and organised Part-Time Customer Support & Commercial Operations Assistant to support our US Customer Support and Commercial teams. This is a junior role suited to someone early in their career who is eager to learn, dependable, and detail-oriented. You will support day-to-day customer interactions and assist with commercial and operational processes to ensure a smooth customer journey from enquiry through to delivery. You will gain hands-on exposure to customer service, sales operations, order processing, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced business environment. What We Offer • Competitive hourly rate • Flexible part-time schedule • Exposure to commercial and operational functions • Supportive and collaborative team environment • Opportunity to grow within the organisation Responsibilities: Customer Support • Respond to first-line customer enquiries via email • Provide customers with order updates and basic product information • Support in preparing and sending customer quotes • Escalate more complex issues to senior team members when needed • Help maintain accurate and professional communication with customers Commercial & Sales Support • Assist in maintaining and updating the sales pipeline • Support the Commercial team with administrative tasks and follow-ups • Help prepare customer documentation, including supplier or vendor forms • Ensure accurate record-keeping across commercial systems Order & Operations Support • Assist with processing customer orders from invoicing through to delivery tracking • Liaise with finance and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment • Help resolve basic order or delivery queries CRM & Data Management • Update and maintain customer records in the CRM system • Ensure data accuracy and completeness • Support reporting and basic data entry tasks as required Qualifications: Experience & Skills • 0 to 2 years of experience in customer service, administration, retail, or similar • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Comfortable using Microsoft Office • Willingness to learn CRM systems and internal processes • Clear written and verbal communication skills Personal Attributes • Reliable and professional • Eager to learn and take feedback • Team-oriented with a flexible approach • Customer-focused with a positive attitude • Able to manage multiple tasks in a structured manner Compensation: $16,000 - $20,000 yearly
