About the Role:

Love My Bilingual Angels, GFD in Ridgewood, NY is looking for a warm, nurturing Part Time Daycare Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play

Support bilingual learning by encouraging communication in both languages

Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and hygiene

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized daycare

Communicate positively with parents and guardians during drop-off and pick-up

Assist lead teachers with lesson plans and structured learning activities

Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting concerns to supervisors

Requirements:

Prior experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred

Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) strongly preferred

Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with young children

Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

High school diploma or equivalent required; ECE coursework a plus
