Part-Time Daycare Assistant – Morning Shift (ABA Preferred)

Location: Farmington, MI Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Compensation: Based on experience, education, and qualifications

Role Description

We’re seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Daycare Assistant to join our morning team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, has patience and compassion, and wants a consistent part-time schedule. Experience with ABA therapy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in toddler and preschool classrooms during morning routines.

Provide one-on-one or small group support, especially for children with additional learning needs.

Help children with activities, snack time, and transitions.

Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.

Support emotional development and positive behavior.

Build relationships with children, families, and coworkers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

TB test and background check required.

Experience with ABA therapy is a plus.
