    The Company:
    Our client is a well-established not-for-profit community healthcare organization that has been serving patients for more than 40 years. They provide comprehensive medical services through multiple locations and are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to diverse and underserved communities. Their integrated care model includes primary care, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, prevention programs, and community health initiatives.

    The Position:
    Our client is seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join their outpatient dental team. The Dental Hygienist will provide preventative dental care, patient education, and support comprehensive oral health services for a diverse patient population. This position works closely with dentists, EFDAs, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative, team-based environment focused on improving patient outcomes and access to quality care.

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care. This provider will play an important role in promoting preventative dental health and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • $50.00 Per Hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Part-Time Schedule:
      • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
      • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
      • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
      • Every Other Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • Provide preventative dental hygiene services including cleanings, periodontal charting, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and oral health screenings
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and treatment recommendations
    • Assist dentists in identifying oral health conditions and treatment needs
    • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system
    • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
    • Collaborate with dentists, EFDAs, and dental assistants to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development
    • Build strong relationships with patients and community referral sources

    Requirements:

    • Active and Unrestricted Ohio Dental Hygienist License
    • Local Anesthesia Certification Preferred
    • CPR Certification
    • Comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients
    • Experience working in a dental setting preferred
    • Excellent communication and patient education skills
