Position Overview

Amanicare Services Inc. is seeking compassionate and reliable Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with disabilities in a residential and community-based setting. DSPs play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support with daily living activities (ADLs)

Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks

Support individuals with community outings and recreational activities

Administer or assist with medications as trained and authorized

Follow individual support plans and company policies

Maintain accurate documentation and daily logs

Ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older

High school diploma or GED preferred

Ability to pass background study and required screenings

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Basic communication and documentation skills

Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a DSP or caregiver (not required)

Experience working with individuals with developmental or physical disabilities

Medication administration certification (or willingness to obtain)
