About the Role:

Wesley's Dog Grooming LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Part Time Dog Groomer to join our team in Corvallis, OR. If you love working with dogs and take pride in delivering top-notch grooming services, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Perform bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling services for dogs of all breeds and sizes

Execute breed-specific haircuts and custom grooming requests from pet owners

Safely handle and restrain dogs in a calm, compassionate manner throughout the grooming process

Clean and sanitize grooming tools, equipment, and workstations between appointments

Communicate with pet owners regarding their dog's coat condition, behavior, and grooming needs

Monitor pets for signs of stress, skin issues, or health concerns and report findings appropriately

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming environment

Requirements:

Previous professional dog grooming experience preferred

Proficiency in breed-specific cuts, hand scissoring, and clipper work

Ability to safely handle dogs of varying temperaments, breeds, and sizes

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality grooming results

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent part-time schedule

Genuine love and patience for animals is a must
