Part-Time Driver – Foundations Learning Academy
Job Summary: Foundations Learning Academy is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Part-Time Driver to transport children safely to and from our center and on field trips. This role ensures a secure and positive transportation experience while maintaining vehicle cleanliness, safety protocols, and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport children while following all safety procedures.
Ensure children are properly secured in age-appropriate restraints.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
Follow established routes and schedules while ensuring timely arrivals.
Conduct routine bus evacuation drills and emergency procedures.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (last 3 years).
High school diploma or GED.
First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) .
Ability to pass background checks.
Physical ability to assist children and handle emergency situations.
Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff Certificate within 90 days of employment
