Gymboree Play & Music is the world’s leading parent-child interactive Play, Music & Art program for children ages newborn to five years. At Gymboree you will help children develop physical, social and cognitive skills. You will also help their parents understand that development.

The Job

Facilitate parent-child interactive classes for ages 0-6 and drop-off classes for preschoolers

Gymboree classes include age-appropriate play activities on our custom designed play equipment, songs, parachute play, and bubbles.

Music classes involve instrument activities, singing, dancing and exploring a variety of music styles from around the world.

Arts classes offer hands-on, process-oriented activities including painting, sculpting, collage making and dress-up time.

Birthday parties are another way to engage with our families.

Gymboree Play & Music provides lesson plans and training

Sales/Customer Service

Provide information and sell enrollments, merchandise & birthday parties.

Answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, greet and service customers.

Assist with off-site grassroots events.

Attend designated staff meetings and trainings.

KEY SKILLS AND TRAITS

Experience working with children newborn to 5 years preferred

Group leadership skills

Customer service oriented

Team player

Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. and move play equipment

Clean physical appearance

Outgoing, enthusiastic, creative

Willingness to sing, play and interactive with children at their developmental level

HOURS: Part-time positions are available, 10-15 hours per week (1-2 working days per week). Classes held weekdays and weekends.

COMPENSATION: Training pay starts at $15 per hour. (Will increase to $16 per hour once training has finished.) Your age-appropriate children will also receive free Gymboree membership.
