Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry of the Keys is actively looking to add a part time skilled and dedicated Endodontist to join our growing team at our practice in Big Pine Key, FL. If you are interested in 2 or 3 days a month in the Keys, we would love to speak with you!

We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Endodontist to provide specialized dental care focused on the diagnosis and treatment of issues related to the dental pulp and root tissues. The Endodontist will perform complex procedures such as root canals, endodontic retreatment, apicoectomies, and treating dental trauma, ensuring high-quality and compassionate care.
The ideal candidate will possess precision, empathy, and strong communication skills. You will collaborate closely with referring general dentists and support team members to deliver seamless care. Clinical confidence and the ability to manage patient expectations are vital.
The PROS:
Compensation based on experience. Includes production-based and/or day rate
Part Time 2 – 3 days per month

Role-Specific Responsibilities:
Review patient records, radiographs, and treatment plans in advance
Diagnose conditions affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues
Perform root canal therapy, pulpectomies, apicoectomies, and trauma management
Provide pain management and post-procedure care plans
Collaborate with general dentists on treatment sequencing and referrals
Administer local anesthesia and sedation as required
Utilize advanced endodontic technologies, including microscopes and CBCT imaging
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of procedures and recommendations
Educate patients about their condition and treatment expectations
Uphold all safety and infection control protocols per OSHA guidelines

Expertise in endodontic diagnosis and procedures

Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Organized, punctual, and committed to high-quality care
Role-Specific Requirements:
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Completion of an accredited Endodontic residency program
Valid state dental license and specialty licensure in endodontics
Current CPR certification and continuing education compliance
Proficiency in endodontic equipment and digital imaging
Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient care
