Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Environmental Compliance Assistant to support our environmental compliance team. This role assists with regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, an interest in environmental compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining environmental compliance records, permits, and files
Support preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation
Track compliance deadlines and assist with calendar management
Collect, organize, and review environmental data for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate with internal staff to obtain required compliance information
Assist with audits, inspections, and follow-up documentation as needed
Perform general administrative duties related to environmental programs
Qualifications
Previous administrative or compliance-related experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Work Environment This position is office-based.
Compensation Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
