    Part-Time Evening Family Assistant – Westlake Hills, TX (78746)

    A warm and welcoming family in Westlake Hills is seeking an experienced, bilingual Family Assistant to provide evening childcare and household support. The family has a 3.5-year-old child and is expecting a newborn in August. They are looking for a dependable, nurturing, and proactive caregiver who can help create a smooth and organized evening routine while providing exceptional care for their children.

    REQUIRED: Nanny must be bilingual (English and Spanish)

    Start Date: August 2026

    Schedule:

    • Monday–Friday

    • 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    • 20 hours per week

    Compensation:

    • $38–$40 per hour, depending on experience

    Contract Length:

    • 6-month contract with the possibility of extension

    Pets:

    • Two cats in the home

    Position Requirements:

    • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)

    • CPR and First Aid Certified

    • Experience caring for newborns and toddlers

    • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record

    • Comfortable driving children to approved activities and outings

    • Organized, dependable, and proactive

    • Able to balance childcare responsibilities with household support tasks

    • Must be ok with cats, family has 2 cats

    Childcare Responsibilities:

    The children's safety, emotional well-being, and care are always the top priority. Household duties are secondary and should only be completed when childcare responsibilities allow.

    • Provide attentive care for a newborn and toddler

    • Support feeding routines, including bottle preparation and sterilization

    • Prepare and serve children's meals, snacks, lunches, and dinners

    • Support nap, quiet time, bath time, and bedtime routines

    • Read, play, and engage children in age-appropriate activities

    • Encourage independence through Montessori-inspired activities when appropriate

    • Incorporate Spanish language exposure and baby sign language, if qualified

    • Drive children to approved activities and outings using your own vehicle

    • Maintain children's bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces used during the shift

    • Complete children's laundry and child-related dishes

    • Communicate daily with parents regarding meals, naps, activities, moods, and any concerns

    Family Assistant Duties (As Time Permits)

    • Load and unload the dishwasher

    • Put away delivered groceries

    • Grocery shop and run errands

    • Receive and organize packages

    • Manage recycling and waste disposal

    • Wash and organize family linens

    • Feed the cats

    • Vacuum main living areas

    • Provide additional light household support as mutually agreed upon
