Job Title: Floor Technician - Part-Time Location: Phoenix, AZ Company: ServiceMaster Building Services Pay: $22/Hour
Key Responsibilities
Perform full strip and wax services with precision and efficiency
Conduct carpet extraction and cleaning, including stain treatment and restoration work
Provide upholstery cleaning services as needed
Perform scrub and refinish services on VCT and other hard floor surfaces
Safely operate and maintain floor-care equipment, including:
Burnishers
Auto scrubbers
Extractors
Buffers
Wet/dry vacuums
Inspect equipment prior to use and report maintenance needs
Ensure proper use of chemicals and follow all safety protocols
Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold company standards of quality
Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progress
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a floor tech (commercial preferred)
Strong skillset in strip & wax, carpet extraction, scrub & recoat, and upholstery cleaning
Ability to operate all major floor-care machines with little to no supervision
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
Availability for evening or weekend work depending on project schedules
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time; hours may vary depending on project needs
Competitive hourly rate based on experience & project type
