Job Summary

KRE Security, LLC is hiring dependable Unarmed Security Officers for a permanent part-time day shift position in Tamaqua, PA. This is a steady, non-rotating assignment with a consistent schedule and clearly defined responsibilities.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income, weekend work, or a structured daytime position, including students, retirees, and those transitioning careers.

Pay & Benefits

$17.00 per hour

Additional $0.25/hour for military and active-duty personnel

Overtime pay available (40+ hours)

Paid Time Off: 24 hours accrued after successful completion of probation

Opportunity for full-time status (30+ hours/week)

Schedule

Saturday–Sunday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

No rotating shifts

Consistent weekly hours

Reliable, set schedule

Responsibilities

Maintain a visible and professional security presence

Perform routine foot and mobile patrols

Monitor entrances, exits, and alarm systems

Observe and report safety or security concerns

Complete daily activity and incident reports (Belfry software)

Follow post orders and site procedures

Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or GED required

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Strong communication and professionalism

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Must pass a background check

Preferred (not required):

Security experience

Military service

Law enforcement background
