Simple Bloom is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and efficient Part-Time Flower Farm & Bouquet Assistant to help harvest and prepare our locally grown flowers for farmers markets.

Schedule

Days: Monday, Friday, and Saturday

Start Time: 8:00 AM

Hours: Up to 6 hours per day

Position: Part-Time / Seasonal

This is a morning-start position. Employees are expected to be ready to work at 8:00 AM. The workday may end earlier depending on how quickly harvesting, bouquet preparation, and other assigned work are completed.

Hours may also vary depending on flower availability, workload, season, and weather conditions.

Pay

Up to $24.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, work performance, and efficiency.

Starting pay will be based on the applicant's experience and ability to perform the required work. Higher pay may be offered to individuals who demonstrate strong flower harvesting or bouquet-arranging skills, farm experience, reliability, efficiency, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

Harvest fresh flowers from the field

Clean, sort, bunch, and prepare harvested flowers

Assist with arranging flowers into bouquets

Prepare and organize flowers for farmers markets

Handle flowers carefully to maintain quality

Keep flower preparation and work areas clean and organized

Help with weeding when harvesting and bouquet work is completed early

Assist with general farm cleanup

Help with other farm duties as needed

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work at 8:00 AM

Works efficiently and stays productive

Is comfortable working outdoors and performing physical farm work

Can follow instructions and learn our harvesting and bouquet-making process

Handles flowers carefully

Can work independently and as part of a team

Is willing to help with weeding, cleanup, and other farm tasks when needed

Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Understands that farm work and hours may change depending on weather and flower production

Previous farm, floral, harvesting, or bouquet-arranging experience is preferred but not required.
