OVERVIEW OF ROLE: The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetics of the exterior and interior of the hotel grounds and property including some painting. Experience is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Completion of daily checklist • Monitor outdoor area around property • Responsible for picking up trash • Maintain landscaping • Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Ability to work on a team and independently. • High level of professionalism. • Detail oriented. • Ability to adhere to procedures and guidelines. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • At least one (1) year of maintenance experience, is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to stand and walk for an extended period. • Ability to repeatedly lift fifty (50) pounds. • Ability to work on ladders. Compensation: $17 an hour to start
