In this role you will play a valuable role in the day-to-day operations of the bed and breakfast by providing exceptional guest services, assist with daily operations, and provide a welcoming environment to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services & Inn Management:
Greet and check-in/check-out guests with professionalism and warmth.
Answer phones and make reservations. Competency in using a light computer application required.
Provide concierge services, including recommending local attractions, dining, and activities.
Light housekeeping to assist with maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and outdoor spaces to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
Handle guest requests, concerns, and inquiries to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
Support the Innkeeper with administrative tasks such as reservations, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
Assist with executing special events, including weddings, showers, small
Assist with the marketing and promotion of events to attract new business.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant service, and event management, or a similar role is helpful
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
Maturity, reliability and a great work ethic essential.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings for events.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a small team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for periods of time, walk stairs and lift to 25 lbs..
