Job Title: Part-Time HR Assistant Company: Allegiance Landscaping Location: Helmetta, NJ Pay: $17–$19/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 20–25 hours/week Position Type: Part-time, in-office (with potential to grow into full-time)
About Us: Allegiance Landscaping is a growing company dedicated to excellence, professionalism, and long-term growth. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented HR Assistant who is ready to invest in a long-term role and contribute to our supportive and organized office environment.
Position Overview: The HR Assistant will support our HR and management teams with a variety of administrative and employee-related tasks. This role is ideal for someone professional, confidential, and highly organized, with strong multitasking abilities and a willingness to commit to at least 2 years with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding new employees
Maintain and organize files and records
Handle phone calls and emails professionally
Support management with performance and discipline matters
Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including occasional handling of file boxes (up to 20 lbs)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or higher required
1–2 years of office experience preferred
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Proficient (or willing to learn) Microsoft 365, landscaping-specific software, and Adobe
Strong typing skills and multitasking ability
Well organized and able to work well under pressure
Experience with phone communication
Skills in dealing with conflict
Commitment to at least 2 years in the role
