Full  Time,  Housekeeper/Cook in Chester, NJ - $45,400 - $54,600 per year

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper/Cook for a family in Mendham NJ. Main focus will be on household maintenance and meal preparation. Looking for someone who can commit to a long-term role. Must be pet friendly, there is a dog at the home.

Position Details:

• Compensation: $35 per hour
• Hours: 25-30 hours per week with some flexibility
• Preferred schedule: Monday- Friday 7-3.
• Start Date: ASAP

• Benefits: 1 week of vacation, 1 sick day, 1 personal day, and 3 paid major holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping:

• Clean and maintain the home with great attention to detail

• Organize closets, handle laundry (for parents only), ironing, and steaming as a high priority

• Ensure that the home is kept tidy and organized, focusing on the main living areas (approximately half of the 10,000 sq ft home is in use)

   

• Cooking:

• Prepare healthy and delicious family meals, focusing on dinners

• No elaborate cooking required, but meals should be nutritious and enjoyable for the family

• Set the table for family dinners (clean-up is not required)

Ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable preparing simple but healthy family meals
• Someone reliable, who can commit to a long-term position and will take pride in their work, as the family prefers the personal touch over cleaning companies
• The ability to manage time effectively and work independently

• Enjoys working in a family setting and can commit to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and care in the home

Requirements:

• Must have a strong work history with long-term roles and excellent references to explain previous employment
• Must have great attention to detail in cleaning, organizing, and laundry
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
