This position supports key HR functions such as onboarding, payroll preparation, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records. Position Details • Part-Time Position • Flexible schedule (approximately 20–25 hours per week ) Responsibilities: Human Resources Administration • Prepare bi-weekly payroll for submission, including time tracking and deductions • Assist with onboarding new employees, including document collection and orientation setup • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with documentation standards • Support insurance and benefits administration, including monthly updates and audit preparation • Assist with HR reporting, documentation, and internal communication Recruiting & Employee Support • Assist with job postings and applicant tracking • Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication • Support employee engagement and company culture initiatives • Respond to general employee questions related to HR processes and policies General Administration • Maintain organized digital and physical HR filing systems • Assist leadership with HR-related projects and reporting • Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed • Provide administrative support for HR compliance and documentation Qualifications: Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in administrative or HR support roles • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll platforms (such as Rippling or similar systems) • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Excellent communication and time management skills Preferred Skills • Experience supporting HR functions, such as onboarding or payroll • Basic understanding of employment law and HR compliance • Experience in construction, trades, or small business environments Compensation: $24 - $28 hourly
