In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. Responsibilities: • Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine • Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas • Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily • Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols • Maintain proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine Qualifications: • Excellent stamina and physical health • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification Compensation: $14.81 - $15.50 hourly
