Ellie Mental Health was proudly founded on the principle of destigmatizing therapy. We’ve made it our goal to break down barriers to treatment and fill the gaps often left by our patchy healthcare system. One of the ways we do this is by prioritizing the clinician’s experience. Ellie Mental Health Livonia is locally-owned and clinician operated. Our clinic is structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health care. We are constantly working with our therapists to lower the administrative aspects of their job to the absolute minimum, so they have more time to focus on what they love—serving clients! We want our people to be happy, because happy therapists do better work!

We'll provide you with a beautiful office to work out of, training to get you up and running, free clinical supervision, and ongoing support. We want to make sure that you're not just making some side money, but that you're feeling confident as a clinical social worker!

Complete ongoing documentation in a timely manner (including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes)

Provide excellent care, utilizing creativity to help clients achieve and exceed their goals

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to fill gaps in mental healthcare

Coordinate with case managers, families, and other personnel as needed

Attend and participate in bi-weekly clinical staff meetings and trainings

    QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree or higher in behavioral sciences or a related field

License to practice therapy in the state of Michigan (LCSW, LLMSW)

Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes

Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients

Excellent time management skills with a proven record of meeting deadlines

Post-grad training in an EBP (such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, etc.), a plus

A great sense of humor won’t hurt—we love to laugh!

Don’t meet EVERY requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. Ellie Mental Health is devoted to purposefully building an inclusive and diverse workplace where all of our humans can be their authentic selves! (Authenticity is one of our core values, after all…) If you’re excited about the chance to be a change-maker with us, but your past experience doesn’t perfectly align with every single qualification of the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. Our mental health jobs need dedicated individuals from every background who are willing to care for others. And who knows, you might just be the perfect candidate for another role!
