Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver/Companion to provide full-time care for a client with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, schizoaffective disorder, seizures, and verbal aggression. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring the client's well-being and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Assist with cooking and cleaning

Help with toileting, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth

Assist with feeding

Perform shopping and run errands

Help with transfers using a Hoyer lift and manual wheelchair

Accompany the client to church and community activities

Engage in crafts and other recreational activities

Requirements:

Previous experience as a caregiver

Proficient in using a Hoyer lift and performing transfers

Ability to use a manual wheelchair

Ability to handle verbal aggression professionally

Schedule:

Every other weekend

Friday 2:30pm - Monday 9am
