We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall appearance of our community’s common areas. This role works closely with the Concierge team and Association Manager to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across all common areas (lobby, gym, pool, garage, etc.)
- Complete minor repairs including painting, plumbing, and electrical work
- Maintain equipment, lighting, water features, and pool systems
- Coordinate cleaning, landscaping, and vendor services
- Monitor property conditions and report issues, including vandalism or major repairs
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and chemicals in compliance with safety standards
- Assist with waste management and occasional hauling
- Communicate maintenance updates and provide reports to management
- Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and pool systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred:
- Certifications related to electrical, plumbing, or pool operations
- Experience with pumps, lighting systems, and water features
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working outdoors and using ladders
