PART TIME Medical Assistant

Position Overview

Oriented Healthcare, LLC is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to support providers and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves preparing patients for visits, assisting with routine clinical procedures, collecting lab specimens, and helping maintain smooth daily clinic operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms, patient charts, and notes prior to appointments

Collect laboratory specimens and perform urinalysis

Assist providers and nurses with basic patient care and procedures

Track lab results and assist with reporting and documentation

Call in prescriptions as directed by providers

Set up medical equipment and testing instruments

Clean and sterilize instruments and exam rooms after use

Maintain inventory of medical supplies and notify staff when restocking is needed

Answer phones and assist with patient questions or scheduling needs

Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms, lobby, and restroom areas

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required

BLS Certification required

Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
