    Aviv Recovery is a private, outpatient practice that specializes in treating Substance Use Disorder for adults. Aviv Recovery is licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to provide Intensive Outpatient services. We are looking for a Medical Director with a background in Addiction Medicine to provide medical leadership and oversight for our program. Our goal is to provide quality care in a safe and comfortable environment while expanding our services to other locations and other levels of care as we grow. The leadership team has extensive experience in the addiction treatment field and understands what it takes to build a strong clinical program that promotes a positive experience for clients and staff.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide medical leadership and oversight for our IOP program

    Develop and implement policies and procedures that adhere to state and federal regulations and best practices in addiction medicine

    Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients

    Provide medical assessments and medication management for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions

    Provide ongoing training and education to the staff on addiction medicine and best practices in patient care

    Work with the CEO, Compliance Officer, Clinical Director and Director of Operations to maintain accreditation and compliance with all regulatory agencies

    Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for our patients

    Qualifications:

    Board certification in Addiction Medicine or experience in Addiction Medicine

    Virginia state medical license in good standing (LNP)

    Experience working with patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions

    Strong leadership and communication skills

    Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team

    Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to addiction medicine and patient care

    This is a remote position.
