    Part-Time Move-in Specialist

    Three 8-hour days including every other Saturday

    Aravilla Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a part-time detail-oriented and service-driven professional to support a smooth and welcoming transition for new residents. In this role, you will help coordinate move-in activities, provide exceptional customer support, and ensure each resident’s first experience is organized, efficient, and positive.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and support all aspects of resident move-in activities.
    • Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact for residents, family members, and internal teams.
    • Maintain inventory and prepare move-in packets, documentation, and necessary forms accurately and on time.
    • Confirm readiness of living spaces before scheduled arrivals.
    • Communicate move-in schedules, expectations, and next steps clearly and professionally.
    • Assist with resolving questions or concerns related to the move-in process.
    • Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless experience prior to move in.
    • Maintain accurate records and update resident information in internal systems.
    • Support tours, welcome activities, and special event planning.
    • Coordinate the admission function, lead generation, follow up, and other programs geared toward stabilizing occupancy.
    • Learn all community policies and procedures as well as current licensure rules and regulations governing the community.
    • Other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School or equivalent as well as training in sales and/or public relations.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak clearly, and follow oral and written instructions.
    • Previous experience in assisted living, customer service, hospitality, resident services, or a related field.
    • Must be aware of and understand the needs of the elderly and recognize behavior and physical condition of residents.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and welcoming approach.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable using computers, email, and standard office software.
    • Problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
